Countryside Experiences – Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once KuduRiver Gundogs has received the required deposit and issued written confirmation of the booking.

All bookings are subject to availability.

2. Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking value is required by the date stated on the invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the scheduled experience date.

Bookings made within 30 days of the experience date require full payment at the time of booking.

KuduRiver Gundogs reserves the right to cancel any booking where payment has not been received by the due dates.

3. Cancellation by the Guest

If a guest cancels their booking:

• More than 60 days before the experience date: any payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded.

• Between 30 and 60 days before the experience date: 50% of the total booking value remains payable.

• Less than 30 days before the experience date: 100% of the booking value remains payable.

Guests may transfer their place to another suitable participant subject to prior agreement with KuduRiver Gundogs.

Any refunds will be made within 14 days of cancellation.

4. Cancellation or Alteration by KuduRiver Gundogs

KuduRiver Gundogs reserves the right to cancel, postpone or amend an experience due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Severe weather conditions.

• Disease outbreaks affecting livestock, game or wildlife.

• Estate management requirements.

• Health and safety concerns.

• Force majeure events.

In such circumstances, guests will be offered either:

• An alternative date; or

• A refund of monies paid.

KuduRiver Gundogs shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by guests, including travel, accommodation booked independently, loss of earnings or other consequential losses.

5. Participation and Safety

All guests participate at their own risk.

Guests agree to follow all instructions provided by KuduRiver Gundogs, estate staff, instructors, gamekeepers and shoot captains.

KuduRiver Gundogs reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, unlawful or likely to compromise the safety or enjoyment of others.

No refund will be provided in such circumstances.

6. Firearms, Licences and Insurance

Where applicable, guests must:

• Hold the appropriate certificates and licences required by UK law.

• Comply with all current firearms legislation.

• Ensure any firearm used is safe and suitable for the activity.

• Hold valid shooting insurance where required.

KuduRiver Gundogs reserves the right to request evidence of certificates, licences or insurance before participation.

6A. Non-Toxic Shot Policy

KuduRiver Gundogs and Branches Park Estate operate a strict non-toxic shot policy.

Only approved non-toxic ammunition may be used during any shooting activity, including but not limited to:

• Steel shot

• Bismuth shot

• Tungsten-based shot

• Other approved non-toxic alternatives

The use of lead shot is strictly prohibited.

It is the responsibility of each guest to ensure that their firearm is suitable and proofed for the ammunition they intend to use.

Guests who arrive with lead ammunition or ammunition deemed unsuitable for the activity may be refused participation until suitable cartridges are obtained. No refund shall be payable in such circumstances.

KuduRiver Gundogs reserves the right to inspect ammunition at any time during the experience to ensure compliance with this policy.

7. Health and Fitness

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of participating in the activities booked.

Any medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements or accessibility requirements that may affect participation should be disclosed prior to the experience date.

8. Accommodation and Estate Property

Guests are expected to treat accommodation, facilities and estate property with respect.

Any damage caused through negligence or deliberate actions may be charged to the responsible guest.

​

9. Photography and Media

Photography and video content may be captured during experiences for promotional and marketing purposes.

By attending, guests consent to the use of images and video featuring them unless they notify KuduRiver Gundogs in writing before the experience.

Guests may request removal of specific images where reasonably practicable.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence.

• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

• Any liability that cannot legally be excluded under English law.

Subject to the above, KuduRiver Gundogs' total liability arising from any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by the guest for that booking.

11. Data Protection

Personal information supplied during the booking process will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information will only be used for administering bookings, communicating with guests and fulfilling legal obligations.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising from a booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By paying the deposit or making full payment, the guest confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
